I'm clearly rubbish at this blogging malarky.
1. I just posted this without actually writing anything, not sure how I managed to do that
2. I have 1 follower. clearly I'm interesting. And I keep forgetting to email links to people who do actually want to follow
3. I have no time - again I should be cooking dinner, writing Shakespeare, doing the annual Christmas bedroom tidy, checking my brother hasn't eaten all the biscuits etc...
Anyways...
I just started looking through all my photos from 2009. Although I've had a very tough year, with two particular awful personal experiences that have caused me to lose 2 of the most important people in my life and made my year the worst I've ever had, I've also had some pretty good times. I've got some beautiful friends and family (not all of them, mind you...), had some brilliant drunken nights out, seen some of my favourite bands, met some of my heroes and been to 2 beautiful cities, 5 beautiful beaches, and done much better than I expected in my first year of uni, considering I'd barely touched a pen since June 2004...all in all - we had the best of times, we had the worst of times - I'm sure that's a line from a book or a lyric from a song I can't put my finger on, but hey, it fits.
I don't usually celebrate new year, but since I shall (hopefully) be writing my Shakespeare essay, seeing bands, drinking and dancing, getting far too fat from turkey and chocolate over the next couple of weeks, i bring you my christmas cheer now - a big thank you to everyone who's helped over the past year, and big fuck you to the others - hope you have a brilliant Christmas and here's to 2010 - bring on the 7th jan, st patricks day, spain, easter, 23rd birthdays, masked balls, argentine tangos, vodka and lemonade, april, june, july, august, december and loveangelmusicbaby!
